Frequently asked questions
These are short answers to common questions about N4XION AI and OPAW v1. For anything not covered here, email hello@n4xion.net.
Is N4XION AI free?
Yes. Access is free. There are no paid plans, no subscriptions, and no ads.
Who can use it?
Access is invite only. It is open to the owner and to invited friends. You need an invite before you can sign in.
What is OPAW v1?
OPAW v1 is the single assistant inside N4XION AI. You send a request and OPAW returns one answer. It offers several modes for different kinds of work.
Does OPAW call every AI for each message?
No. OPAW picks one suitable free provider for your request. If that provider fails, it can fall back to another. It never calls every provider for a single message.
How does Auto mode choose a provider?
Auto mode is the default. It selects one suitable free provider for your request and uses a fallback if the first one does not respond. Only free endpoints are used.
Which providers does OPAW support?
OPAW can route to several free AI providers that an administrator has enabled. See Models and providers for the current list.
Why is a mode unavailable?
A mode appears when an administrator has enabled a provider and verified a free model for it. Image, Video, and Voice are not available yet. They show an unavailable message until a configured free endpoint supports them.
Why did OPAW switch providers?
OPAW may switch providers when one is slow, returns an error, or reaches its free limit. The switch keeps your request working without any action from you.
What happens when a free API limit runs out?
When a free provider reaches its limit, OPAW tries another provider. If no free provider is available for a mode, that mode can pause until the limit resets.
Are there subscriptions or upgrade fees?
No. There are no subscriptions and no upgrade fees. The service is free and invite only.
How do I create an account?
You need an invite. Once you have one, enter your email and OPAW sends a six digit code to that address. Enter the code to sign in. See Create an account.
Why did I not receive my login code?
Check your spam or junk folder first. Make sure you used the invited email address. If the code still does not arrive, request a new one, then contact support if the problem continues.
How long does the code remain valid?
The six digit code is valid for a short time and for a single sign in. If it expires, request a new one.
How do I sign out of other devices?
You can sign out from your account settings. If you think a session is active that should not be, email hello@n4xion.net and we will help.
What data does N4XION AI collect?
We collect your email, display name, sign in records, your prompts and responses, files you upload, and usage logs. The Privacy Policy lists the full detail.
Which AI providers receive my prompt?
Your prompt, and sometimes your files, go to the AI provider that handles your request. Auto mode selects one provider per request. The Privacy Policy lists the providers we may use.
Does N4XION AI use my chats to train models?
No. We do not use your chats to train models. Your prompts and files are sent to a provider only to answer your request.
How long are conversations kept?
We keep your conversations so you can return to them, until you delete them or close your account. See the Privacy Policy for retention detail.
How do I export my data?
Ask us for an export of your account data, including your conversations and files. Email hello@n4xion.net and tell us what you need.
How do I delete my account?
Ask us to delete your account. We remove your conversations, files, and generated media, and we close your access. Email hello@n4xion.net.
Can administrators read my conversations?
By default, administrators do not read the private content of your conversations. They may access account records, usage logs, and security events to run the service and to investigate a reported problem.
How do web citations work?
Web mode uses Tavily to search, then a model writes the answer and cites its sources as numbers like [1]. Each number points to a source you can open.
Can OPAW make mistakes?
Yes. OPAW can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important against a trusted source before you rely on it.
Should I rely on OPAW for medical, legal, or financial decisions?
No. OPAW is not a substitute for a professional. For medical, legal, or financial decisions, speak with a qualified person.
Which file types can I upload?
You can upload common text and document files to add context to a request. The exact set depends on the mode and provider handling your request.
Can OPAW generate images?
Not available yet. Image mode shows an unavailable message until a configured free endpoint supports it.
Can OPAW edit images?
Not yet. Image editing is not available at this time.
Can OPAW generate video?
Not yet. Video mode shows an unavailable message until a configured free endpoint supports it.
Can OPAW read answers aloud?
Not yet. Voice is not available until a configured free endpoint supports it.
How do usage limits reset?
Usage is tracked as rolling five hour, daily, and weekly request counts. Each count resets on its own window as time passes.
Why did I reach a limit?
By default there is no set limit, shown as No set limit rather than a number. A pause usually means a free provider reached its own limit, which can pause that mode until it resets. See Usage and limits.
Which browsers work?
N4XION AI works in current versions of common browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Keep your browser up to date for the best experience.
