Modes

A mode tells OPAW what kind of help you want. You pick a mode for each request, and OPAW routes the request to a suitable free provider. A mode is available when an administrator has enabled a provider and verified a free model for it.

Available modes

• Auto is the default. It picks one suitable free provider for your request and uses a fallback if that provider fails. Most requests work well here.
• Fast aims for a quick reply. Use it when you want a short turnaround over a long, detailed answer.
• Deep aims for a fuller, more considered answer. Use it when a request needs more reasoning or detail.
• Web searches the web with Tavily, then a model writes the answer and cites its sources as [n]. Use it for recent or factual questions where you want to check the sources.
• Code focuses on programming help, such as writing, reading, and fixing code.
• Write focuses on drafting and editing text, such as messages, notes, and longer writing.

Currently unavailable

Image, Video, and Voice are currently unavailable. When you open one of them, OPAW shows an unavailable message instead of a result. These modes stay off until a configured free endpoint supports them. There is no date for this yet.

When a mode is off

A mode can be off if no provider is enabled for it yet, or if a free provider limit has paused it for a while. OPAW may also switch providers within a mode to keep it working. If a mode you need is not available, try Auto or email hello@n4xion.net.
